Preparation at an early age strengthens learning and helps our children,
the young people, be the future of our Great Country.
- Consuelo Galdamez
Our goal has always been to support infants, toddlers, and preschoolers in their cognitive learning, and their emotional and social development, by providing structure, security, and a good balanced, and very nutritious diet.
Our experience as Day Care Providers allows us to work together with our parents and grandparents, strengthening our ties to the community and
sharing the joys of seeing our children succeed.
Before the Pandemic we went to the bookstore twice a month,
often accompanied by a parent or a grandparent of one of our children.
We strive to encourage that unity and teamwork to show how important family is.
Our Day Care has a mission of incorporating the family,
demonstrating how important we feel emotional and social stability is for our children.
We love to catch up with our previous students and felt very proud of our first student graduating from college this year. Seeing our former students accomplish so much as they progress through grade school is heartwarming and we feel very proud to have been a part of their journey. Best of all, we maintain communication with our Parents whose children have aged out of our programs.

My name is Linda Galdamez, daughter of Consuelo Galdamez, director, and co-owner of LDC Learning Center. Growing up in a childcare setting fueled my passion for Early Education. I pursued a Bachelor’s in English Language and Literature and Childhood Psychology. After a few years of working as a counselor for a non-profit child-abuse agency, I returned to school and transitioned my career to teaching. I began to work full-time at Linda’s Day Care, in an effort to elevate our high-quality center and build a stronger connection with families. I pursued a dual Master's in Early Childhood Education & Early Childhood Special Education from New York University. Shortly after graduating, I became a licensed Public School Teacher for NYS for Students with Disabilities (Birth-Grade 2). My interest in Early Intervention and Special Education inspired me to become a Board Certified Behavioral Analyst (BCBA), and I work with NYC as an ABA for Early Intervention since 2020.
