Our Philosophy

 My name is Linda Galdamez, daughter of Consuelo Galdamez, director, and co-owner of LDC Learning Center. Growing up in a childcare setting fueled my passion for Early Education. I pursued a Bachelor’s in English Language and Literature and Childhood Psychology. After a few years of working as a counselor for a non-profit child-abuse agency, I returned to school and transitioned my career to teaching. I began to work full-time at Linda’s Day Care, in an effort to elevate our high-quality center and build a stronger connection with families. I pursued a dual Master's in Early Childhood Education & Early Childhood Special Education from New York University. Shortly after graduating, I became a licensed Public School Teacher for NYS for Students with Disabilities (Birth-Grade 2). My interest in Early Intervention and Special Education inspired me to become a Board Certified Behavioral Analyst (BCBA), and I work with NYC as an ABA for Early Intervention since 2020.

 My name is Dolores Consuelo Galdamez. I have been a local provider of child care here in Middle Village since 2000. I have my Associate's Certificate (CDA) in Child Development, valid from 2021 to 2024. 

We are proud to offer a Montessori Curriculum in our New York State Child Day Care.

I have 30 hours of training as of December 2022.

My name is Gabriela, I have worked at Linda’s Day Care since 2021. During my time here, I have received 35 hours of Early Child Education Training and my CPR & First-Aid certification. I like working here because there is an emphasis on teamwork and commitment to our students and families. In Linda's Daycare, the teachers strive to achieve common goals which are caring for the children with love and respect, exemplifying leadership, harmony, responsibility, creativity, organization, and cooperation between students and staff.

 Mi nombre es Gabriela, trabajo en Linda's Day Care desde 2021. Durante mi tiempo aquí, recibí 35 horas de capacitación en educación infantil temprana y mi certificación en RCP y primeros auxilios. Me gusta trabajar aquí porque se enfatiza el trabajo en equipo y el compromiso con nuestros estudiantes y familias. En Linda's Daycare, las maestras se esfuerzan por lograr objetivos comunes que es cuidar a los niños con amor y respeto, ejemplificando liderazgo, armonía, responsabilidad, creatividad, organización, cooperación entre los niños y el personal.
